Again, going out on a limb - Indiana Goes For Obama

Again, without going out on a limb, but looking at Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio; with 99% of the precincts reporting, I am declaring Indiana for Obama :o)

I think that McCain did his best to be gracious in his concession, and that Obama made a plea to unite our country.

Who ever you voted for, lets get down to healing this GREAT country of ours.

  1. I think you could very well be right about Indiana, which I find utterly astonishing.

I'm still stunned, and almost wiped out.

  2. Frankly, I think McCain was quite gracious in his concession speech. My son kept looking at me to see if I would let go a tear. He knew that I felt for Senator McCain and that I realized he never had a chance from the word go. As anyone can see, I (usually)do not talk politics, being a San Franciscan (I think they're all nuts here!) Wouldn't it be great if we could play nice? I was disheartened by those who said that if I did not vote for Obama I must be racist. People need to stop being divisive and start to come together.....if it is possible. It really is the only way to begin to heal this country.
I fully agree, whomever people cast their votes for, lets respect their opinions and work together to create some positive change!

  4. Little early I'm afraid. McCain just retook the lead in IN with 99% in, still too close to call.

  5. I agree with you, it's time for the healing. And yes, McCain gave a wonderful speech. So was Obama's acceptance speech! Blessings* Teresa

  7. Well said, and I noticed Indiana did indeed go to Obama today. Way to go! Now if I could just borrow that muffler you have in your last post...I need to put it on an annoyance in Beth's journal that goes by the disguise of Anonymous (no name, no guts or fight right?)...(Hugs)Indigo
