Old Garage Cleanup Complete :o)

Here is what the old garage (the one attached to our house) looks like. We had a new 3-car garage built last year, so this space is available.

The long term plan is to expand our living room into the left corner, and have a fireplace as well. The center section is for a workout area, that could be up and running next weekend.

You can see all the insulation that I installed yesterday. Today was removing old shelves, putting down weather strip under the garage door, and general cleanup.

I missed the Bears game, but got regular updates from Beth (Da Bears won :o). It sure feels good getting some work done around the homestead.

Here is hoping you had a good weekend, that you accomplished what you wanted, and that you are ready for a new week. I have a little work-work to do, and to finish watching the colts, and then it is off to BBQ some steaks :o) Yummo!

It sounds like it's going to be great when it's finished especially the fireplace.

  15. Good work! Do you hire out as a subcontractor? Just teasing, but I wish that I could be as handy around the house ... a clown, a nuclear engineer and journeyman. Beth got a great deal!
