Trust...

Rather than defining trust, think about it.

Do the following, pausing a few seconds between each:
  1. Make a list of the people you trust and think about why.
  2. Make a second list of the people you distrust and why.
  3. Write down what it will take someone on the second list to regain your trust.

The last question is rhetorical, "Nothing, they never regain complete trust."

So, whose trust list are you on?

  1. Another good question would be "How many people trust you." It's a tricky one to answer.

  2. Hmmm, interesting question. I actually tried this and it turns out there aren't that many people outside of my immediate family that I would trust implicitly.
Maybe that says more about me than it does about my friends?

  3. "The best way to find out if you can trust someone... is to trust them."

  4. I trust people who act consistently. I trust different people with different things. I can trust that my husband wouldn't have an affair but wouldn't want to trust him with a young beautiful naked woman jumping in his bed for the night. I can trust my mother to keep a secret but not to remember what I told her. You get my drift.
