Nuclear Science Week

 

It’s here… 2012 National Nuclear Science Week is January 23-27. National Nuclear Science Week is a national, broadly observed week-long celebration to focus local, regional and national interest on all aspects of nuclear science.

Each day will provide a chance to learn about the contributions, innovations and opportunities that can be found by exploring nuclear science. Key daily focus areas for the week include: 

 
Monday: Education—Get to Know Nuclear
Tuesday: Careers in Nuclear
Wednesday: Energy Generation
Thursday: Nuclear Safety
Friday: Nuclear Medicine

  1. Great link. Lots of interesting stuff. Going to pass it along to my nephews, brother, father, hubby, etc. Educating yourself at any age keeps you on your toes. Especially on a topic as important as this.

  2. We owe a lot to nuclear energy. There are always fears in communities surrounding the generators, but all in all I for one wish all our power was nuclear. As time goes on the energy eating equipment is dropping, thank goodness.
