Dark Roasted Coffee - good and good for you :o)

Dark-Roasted coffee is gentler on the stomach than light-roasted coffee.  People who get heartburn or stomach irritation from most coffees often find dark roasts less bothersome.

  1. I am entirely too unbothered by well-roasted coffee. We're Peet's Coffee fans and have it shipped to our house on a schedule. Peet's Major Dickenson's label is our favorite. My doctor is starting to say it's time I back off the caffeine; I'm pretty sure I'd just go Rip Van Winkle if I took her advice. Snore.

  3. Good to know. Paul will drink coffee in any shape or form. I'm almost positive he won't mind changing up to something darker for my sake. (Hugs)Indigo

  6. I like the rich, dark, bold coffee myself but lately I've been on an Organic Green Tea with caffeine as the decaf is hard to find.

It is making my blood work look better so I'm a believer that the green tea does have some health benefits as I have changed nothing else in my diet.

  7. Yo, spotter, I've known about the medicinal and inspirational qualities of dark roast coffee for many years. In New York shopping for coffee was an adventure. Here I take what I can get.

The darker cigars, the meduros, are better also if you happen to be bent that way.

  9. Hooray... I'm a chronic coffee drinker. I have a couple of cups each morning and one in the afternoon generally. Now if it could increase my metabolism, I'd be really happy.
