Is that Spring In the Air?

A recent study found the average golfer walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found golfers drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means, on average, golfers get about 41 miles to the gallon.

I look forward to doing my share this year to improve our miles per gallon average :o)

  1. Ahhh, it's that time of the year again. Golfing is around the corner. Still don't exactly get the game or want to play it. But I know you and Beth enjoy it, so that makes it meaningful. (Hugs)Indigo

  2. I've taken golf lessons, practiced at the driving range a few times, but I've never actually been on a golf course! There's a little 3 par by our house, Glen says we'll start there...however, we still haven't gone. There's a hidden message in that!

  3. Me, too! I get all those miles to ths gallon by walking, only it's wine that fuels my engine.

  4. Haha! I look forward to practicing in earnest this spring and ?maybe? I'll be ready for a round in Florida in July?!

  5. so does that mean you walk more and drink less, or walk less and drink more??

i imagine the greens are a wee bit soggy from all the rain.

  6. what interesting stats! then you have to calculate in those who can golf year round as they do in So. Calif. wonder what they get per gallon??

hoping its a good golfing season for you when it starts up again

Tell Me What You Think, Don't Make me go Rogue on you :o)
