The only incandescent bulbs we have left are for our recessed lights and some utility lights, but those don't get turned on. Most of our flashlights are LED and our night lights are as well. Once our CFLs begin to fail I'd like to replace them with LEDs.Kyle Leachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13369076904327452139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4240652707324624619.post-21518778025433362382010-12-02T08:46:42.890-05:002010-12-02T08:46:42.890-05:00Argoooooossss!Argoooooossss!Call me Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17704646008578216859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4240652707324624619.post-46168129682943651502010-12-01T13:21:20.162-05:002010-12-01T13:21:20.162-05:00I thought this was going to be about the Hamilton ...I thought this was going to be about the Hamilton Tiger-Cats... :0(Big Mark 243https://www.blogger.com/profile/10974573439218884164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4240652707324624619.post-8397881283065641462010-12-01T10:44:46.987-05:002010-12-01T10:44:46.987-05:00As the prices lower the LED bulbs are looking bett...As the prices lower the LED bulbs are looking better and better-something about mercury being in the CFL bulbs always kept me from buying them.Mr.Mischiefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03558542439592299078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4240652707324624619.post-47388838938123866902010-12-01T08:36:15.153-05:002010-12-01T08:36:15.153-05:00Upon a second reading, I think the subtitle is all...Upon a second reading, I think the subtitle is all important. Those who have not yet given up their incandescent bulbs cam make a greener choice with LEDs. CFLs are not the most ecologically friendly product there is.Call me Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17704646008578216859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4240652707324624619.post-34337644261455561592010-12-01T08:08:14.192-05:002010-12-01T08:08:14.192-05:00It all comes down to cost. Sure the lifespan of LED will be 3-5 times that of CFL, but with CFLs already lasting 2-5 years, most people aren't worried about thinking that far ahead. If LEDs continue to be significantly more expensive than CFLs, I don't think people will buy them.Call me Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17704646008578216859noreply@blogger.com
